Idea2Form (I2F) is the Creative Services Division of Beats Rhymes and Life, Inc., a community-based 501c3 non-profit organization specializing in promoting health and wellness in diverse youth communities. Over the years, Beats Rhymes and Life (BRL) has become widely known for its creative use of media to engage communities and bring attention to an array of issues and causes. In 2004, BRL pioneered one the of countries first Rap Therapy groups that used media literacy and Hip Hop to offer healing opportunities for young men of color. Since then, BRL has utilized media arts throughout our programs and projects to serve youth in many communities. In 2011, BRL was awarded the prestigious Community Service Award by the Alameda County Mental Health Board for our use of media to reduce stigma and promote mental health. Over the years, many of our media projects have been the result of adult and youth collaborations. Our approach includes combining the skills and talents of helping professionals and media artists to produce useful media assets for our partners, communities and media clients. Due to the recent increase in demand for our media services, BRL has created Idea2Form. Headed by Lexx Valdez, BRL Creative Services Director, I2F aims to provide profesional media services to individuals, groups, organizations and public agencies focused in the areas health and wellness.
